Warchest Boutique Shoot Nov. 2015

I was invited back to Warchest Boutique (http://warinternational.org/) this past November to do another photoshoot! We had some awesome models, a hair dresser, makeup artist, and a fashion blogger Sonal (https://sosonyy.wordpress.com/). It is always an honor volunteering for such a great non profit. The work they do is amazing and so fulfilling. Thank you WAR for hosting and having me back to shoot your awesome products!

Small Town Shoot

A camera is a save button for the mind’s eye. – Rogn Kingston

Some of the smallest towns have the best and unique places to shoot.

Wicker Park Art

Wicker Park is such a cute and fun part of Chicago. It has awesome shopping, thrift stores, and restaurants. I went last week and visited the cutest little sweets and coffee shop called Bake. If you’ve never been there you should go! They make everything in house and their motto is “fresh is always best”, they live by their motto. We even found out that their delicious Chai is made fresh in house from scratch. How Awesome!

We shopped and thrifted and enojyed the art of the town and the parks. Our trip ended at a yummy restaurant called Xcoco. I must say we had the best Ceviche and Tortas! Highly recommend. Check out some of the photos from our trip. I tried to capture more of the art of Wicker Park, I think they turned out pretty dang cool. We also spend some time in Humboldt Park. This park is a great place to go and relax or shoot some photos! Check out the photos from my photoshoot with Megan to see more of Humboldt Park.

Photoshoot

I always look forward to seeing the wonderful Ms. Megan! We had a great time and got some great shots. Check out the gallery below. Which one is your favorite?

California

So we took a trip to California this past December. I had never been and had an amazing time!

We met Melissa McCarthy, who I later found out my Aunt used to babysit. We also saw Ashton Kutcher, Kaley Couco, and so many others! We had the pleasure to be apart of the live taping for Mike and Molly, The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, Midnight, and The Price is Right! Yea, we also met Drew Carey!

It was funny because the temperature during our trip had a low of 70 degrees. We would see people walking around in winter coats, hats, gloves, scarfs. I kept thinking to myself, come spend a winter in Chicago then you’ll realized how much you really need those articles of clothing!
